In a thrilling showdown, the Bethesda University Lion Angels emerged victorious against the West Coast Baptist College Eagles with a narrow 82-79 win. The game went back and forth until a last-second steal by the standout player, Jonathan Ileleji, sealed the win. Ileleji showcased his game by leading all scorers with an impressive 32 points and 8 rebounds. West Coast Baptist Eagles were gallantly led by Wesley Carnes and Jordan Bateman, who combined for 47 points. Notably, Bateman stood out with a game-high 17 rebounds, demonstrating his tenacity on the boards. Looking ahead, the Lion Angels are set to face the winner of the Justice College-Lincoln University semifinal match up in a high-stakes game at conference hosts West Coast Baptist College tomorrow.
