Lady Flames pick up second win of the season!

After a tough losing streak for the lady flames, they bounced back to defend home court. In a back to back battle with conference opponent SAGU it was a weekend full of good basketball. Saturday night was senior night where all three seniors were honored; Erianna Gowdy, Martha Angol, and Vanessa Vargas. Although Saturdays game ended in a loss, it was great to see all family and friends to come out to support the seniors. 

Sunday afternoon the flames came out with a different fire. Getting leading scorer Alex Buckley going early was a big boost to start the game. Once the second half came around along with Buckley, Vanessa Vargas and Roselyn Delgado played vital roles offensively in Bethesda's home win. Both team fought hard but a mid fourth quarter scoring flury from the Flames gave them a comfrtable cusion to end the game. Our Lady Flames lace up again January 28th against UC Santa Cruz at 2pm.
