Hampton Inn Green & Gold Classic (Mont.)
The Lady Flames played some tough opponents in Rocky Mountain College & Providence University in the Hampton Inn Green & Gold Classic. Denshay Wallace had a double-double as she was effective from the field with 12 points on 50% shooting to go with her 14 rebounds. Tanika Stephenson had 14 points, Megan Burt had 6 points, and 4 assists against the Rocky Mountain Battlin' Bears in their first game of the Green and Gold Classic. The Flames had a tough loss against the Battlin' Bears as they loss 46-95. The Flames competed against the Providence University Argos in a 52-90 loss. Megan Burt lead the Flames with hot shooting behind the arc as she went 60% from 3pt range, 85.71% from the FT line, 3 assists, and 17 total points. Wallace had 15 points, Stephenson had 10, and Lakeia Brown had 4 assists.
The Flames take on San Diego Christian at home at 1:30 pm on January 2, 2020. The game will be played at Santiago High School in Garden Grove, Ca. The Flames will then take on NCAA Division 1 Long Beach State on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 2 pm.
