
Huge Non-Conference Win for the Flames
Game Recap - The Flames came out hot and started the game with a 2 run 1st inning and did not look back from there. Bethesda led from begining to end. The team won each 1/3 of the game (the early innings, the middle innings, and the late innings) ending the final 1/3 not giving up any runs and extending their lead at the same time. The team strung together 12 hits with each of the 1st 4 batters in the lineup having multiple hits. Lead by Ryan Pruett with a 3 for 5 day and 2 RBI's. Jaden Burns added 2 RBI's of his own and 2 big hits in clutch situations. The Flames also added Four 2-Strike RBI's. On the mound a strong start from Jeremiah Duran going 6 stellar innings only allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits. The bullpen was tremendous only giving up 2 hits in the final 3 innings and not allowing a run. Hector Navarro worked out of a 1st and 2nd 0 outs
situation and induced 3 pop ups for outs. Roberto Novela worked a strong 8th striking out the last batter he faced with a runner on. Raudel Wilson collected his 4th save of the season working a scoreless 9th. Bethesda is back in action Wednesday with a double header @ Masters College. 1st game slated for a Noon start.
