Adrian Flores Named NCCAA Player of the Week

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Adrian Flores, a senior from Santa Ana, California, was brilliant offensively for the Flames last week. In a 19-9 win over Benedictine University at Mesa, Flores was 5-for-5, hit for the cycle, and had 4 RBI. Flores then went 5-for-6 with 6 RBI in a loss to Saint Katherine College. On the week, Flores batted .800 with 2 homeruns, 5 runs scored, 10 RBI, and a 1.533 slugging percentage.

"Adrian had one of the better weeks that I have seen from a hitter," said Head Coach Garrett Trevino." He has put in a lot of work this year in reshaping his game. From a guy who had zero home runs and six doubles last year to a guy with 10 home runs and 29 extra base-hits this year; it truly is a testament of his commitment and belief in his abilities."

For the season, Flores has a slash line of .417/.464/.742 and has 10 home runs, 15 doubles, 4 triples, and 49 RBI.
