Flames win Big Against Lions

LANCASTER, Calif. - The Bethesda Flames were red hot and scored 104 points to pull out a win against the high octane Multnomah Lions. "It was a high scoring game and I'm glad that we scored enough to win. Multnomah scored 81 points and hit 14 threes, so we didn't exactly do a good job on defense" said head coach Leo Balayon. According to Balayon, the Flames have shown a lot of improvement in the past few games. "Don't get me wrong. We have gotten a lot better as a group but we still need to work on many things to reach our goals for the season" said Balayon.

Gabriel Adersteg led the Flames in both points and rebounding. The 6'8" Swede scored 24 markers and grabbed 8 boards. Jordan Lopez also had a great game for the Flames, chipping in 23 points for the night. Senior Isaiah Hicks and junior Rayford Rigby each put up 15 points. It was a particularly big night for Rigby as he sparked the initial run that allowed the Flames to take control of the game.
