Bethesda University Dominates Nobel University

Anaheim, C.A. - In a single game clash between Nobel University and Bethesda University at La Palma Park in Anaheim, CA, Bethesda University emerged victorious with a dominant performance.

 

Bethesda University put on an offensive display, scoring 14 runs in their return to La Palma Park.  Bethesda hitters tallied up 13 hits in total.  The offense was paced by Nathan Huyler, Aaron Fernandez, and Christopher Soto who each contributed multiple RBI's.

 

Nobel University's offense was stifled all day by strong pitching from Bethesda who walked 0 batters on the day.  Leading the way on the mound was a quality 5 inning start from Johnathan Mejia allowing only 3 hits, 1 Run (0 ER), 1 SO, and 0 walks.  The relievers tallied 4 scoreless innings and 1 hit, Hector Navarro 1 IP, 0 H, 0 BB and Raudel Wilson 3 IP, 1 H, 0 BB and 2 strikeouts

The game, officiated by umpires Joe Venegas Jr. and David Spigner, lasted three hours with an attendance of 50 spectators.
