Flores and Maxey Named All-Americans

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Bethesda Flames had two members honored as NCCAA All-Americans for the 2017 season.

Adrian Flores was named 1st-team All-American. The senior led the Flames in almost every offensive category. Flores finished with a slash line of .413/.464/.698 with 10 home runs, 16 doubles and 4 triples. He drove in 53 runs and fielded .995 after making one error all season in the first game of the year.

 

Kevin Maxey was named 2nd-team All American. The senior had an incredible season for the Flames leading them with 14 home runs in just 49 games. Maxey had a slash line of .353/.403/.674 and added 14 doubles and 2 triples to his 14 home runs. Maxey drove in 45 runs on the year and added eight stolen bases. He led the Flames outfielders with five assists on the season.
