PLACENTIA, Calif. - The Bethesda Flames could not overcome a slew of throwing errors in a 15-9 loss to Hope on Tuesday.
Offensively the Flames were led by reigning NCCAA Player of the week Adrian Flores. The senior stayed hot belting a three-run home run in the first inning to give the Flames the early advantage. He followed that up with a double in the second inning that hit the top of the fence in right field. On the day, Flores finished 3-6.
Kevin Maxey (2-5 one double, one run scored, one run batted in), and Daniel Arellano (2-5 one home run, one double, three runs batted in) were the other standout performers for the Flames.
The Flames move to 22-19 on the season and have one more game remaining on Thursday, May 4, at Biola University.
